Learn to Swim

Every child needs to learn how to swim. So why not learn at NRH₂O Family Water Park where you'll be swimming all summer? The NRH₂O team has taught over thousands of children to swim since the program began in 1995. Our licensed swim instructors utilize the Jeff Ellis Swimming Program for all instruction. This is the same organization that provides training to our award winning lifeguards. For everyone's safety our maximum student to teacher ratio is 6:1 and licensed lifeguards are always on duty during all lessons.

We offer lessons for children between 4 and 12 years of age. As a bonus, each student receives a free ticket to NRH₂O at graduation.

There are 4 sessions this summer. Each session consists of eight (8) one hour lessons that start at 8:15 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Friday is used as a rain-make-up day. There are two age groups for swim lessons, 4-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds.

Junior Lifeguard

Ever thought about being an NRH₂O lifeguard? Come find out what it takes! Our Junior Lifeguard Program is designed to teach 11-15 year olds National Safety Council First Aid and CPR, plus water safety and lifeguarding skills. This program not only teaches valuable skills, but prepares students to join our team as one of NRH₂O's award winning lifeguards as soon as they turn 16 years old.

Students should be between 11 and 15 years of age. Each student receives instruction, an official NRH₂O Junior Guard t-shirt and water bottle, a whistle, and at graduation, a free ticket to visit NRH₂O.

There are 2 sessions this summer. Each session consists of twelve (12) 1 1/2 hour lessons that start at 8 a/m/, Monday through Thursday. Friday is used as a rain/make-up day.
